The foundation stone of the new production facility of the Mioni factory was laid

In our factory for the production of mineral water and non-alcoholic drinks “Mioni” in the village of Ključ near Mionica, the foundation stone for a new production plant was laid, which will increase the capacity of the factory from 250 million liters to 450 million liters per year.

This investment amounts to 16 million euros, and the investment will expand the area of the facility from the current 7,500 m2 to a total of 13,000 m2 of production and storage space.

“We are proud that in the past period, together with our partners, we have achieved serious growth in the segment of mineral water and soft drinks.” Today, Mioni successfully develops its brands, but also produces a wide range of private label products for the largest global and domestic retail chains. Our goal is to remain a reliable and efficient partner to our customers, to win new consumers, new markets and to create new trends by investing significantly in the most modern technologies and expanding production capacities. I deeply believe that with this investment and the further development of the Mioni factory, we will contribute to the development of the entire Kolubara district,” says Saša Micić, general manager of the Mioni factory.

The opening of the new plant is planned for May 2024, and the expectation is that the annual production from 140 million liters this year will reach 330 million liters by 2028.
