New BMW X5 and BMW 7 Series unveiled: Delta Auto Group showcases the pinnacle of the BMW range

Delta Auto Group unveiled the new BMW X5 and BMW 7 Series, two models at the very top of the BMW range, at a special event held at the Sava Centre in Belgrade. Combining striking visual effects, lighting, sound, video and multimedia content, the event gave guests the opportunity to discover two distinct sides of the new BMW era: the luxury and technological sophistication of the 7 Series, and the power, versatility and character of the new X5.

Following the new BMW iX3, the first series-production model of the Neue Klasse generation, technologies from the new BMW era are now making their way into the X5 and 7 Series. The X5 arrives as an all-new fifth-generation model, while the 7 Series has undergone a significant upgrade within its current seventh generation.

“The BMW 7 Series has represented the very best of BMW’s engineering and expertise for almost five decades. The new edition takes this to an even higher level. It represents the most extensive model update ever carried out by the BMW Group, combining exceptional craftsmanship and luxury with technologies from the Neue Klasse generation,” said Zoran Mihajlović, Director of BMW and MINI Brands at Delta Auto Group.

For the first time in BMW history, the front passenger has a dedicated BMW Passenger Screen, featuring a 14.6-inch touchscreen display. The petrol version of the new 7 Series is currently available on the Serbian market, while the diesel version is expected to arrive in December.

“The X5 showed as early as 1999 that a large SUV could offer much more than space and a commanding road presence. It could also deliver the true BMW driving experience. The fifth generation continues that story, now with all-new technology, even more space and an exceptionally wide choice of powertrains,” said Lazar Radanov Radičev, Director of New Business Development at Delta Auto Group.

Customers will be able to choose from five different drivetrain variants: petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid, fully electric and, at a later stage, hydrogen fuel cell. The fully electric version will be known as the BMW iX5, while the hydrogen-powered version is the BMW iX5 Hydrogen. The X5 is the first BMW model to feature genuine stone in its interior. On the Serbian market, the petrol and diesel versions of the new BMW X5 are currently available, while the plug-in hybrid and fully electric versions will follow in a later phase.
