Delta Foundation – 17 years of investment in community development

Delta Foundation is celebrating its 17th anniversary today. Since its establishment in 2007, Delta Holding has invested 40 million euros into socially responsible projects across Serbia, supporting harder-to-employ categories of the population, education, the preservation of cultural values, and sustainable community development, especially in rural areas.

Over the years, Delta Foundation has empowered farmers through the “Naše selo” (Our Village) and “Digitalno selo” (Digital Village) projects, supporting over 150 farms in five villages across Serbia. The goal of these projects is to create conditions for a more modern and attractive life in rural areas by sharing knowledge on modern agricultural production and new technologies.

Additionally, for the past eight years, Delta Foundation has contributed to the preservation of biological families at risk of separation through the “Treći roditelj” (Third Parent) project. This support involves engaging social workers and providing financial assistance through Delta Holding employees. The project enables parents to ensure a stable and safe environment for their children to grow up in.

Preserving Serbian tradition of philanthropy holds a significant place in the activities of Delta Foundation. Over the past decade, the Foundation has built three major philanthropic facilities: the “Sunce” Day Center for Youth with Disabilities, the “Iskra” Sports and Recreation Center for People with Disabilities, and the artwork “Odavde donde,” which adorns the footbridge on the Sava Quay.
