With the renovation of the Blue Hall, the reconstruction of the Sava Centar has been completed

Our company has completed a three-year reconstruction of the Sava Centar with the renovation of the Blue Hall, which is now ready to host numerous cultural and conference events. The total investment in the Sava Centar renovation amounted to 120 million euros, with 40 million euros dedicated to the renovation of the Blue Hall.

“The Blue Hall is the crown of our three-year work. We have preserved its distinctive color scheme and name as a tribute to all the beautiful moments and emotions we have shared here. We increased the hall’s capacity by 10%, or 400 seats, bringing the total to 4,050. We have equipped the hall with technology that meets the global standards of congress, cultural, and artistic events,” stated Angelina Nekić, Vice President of Delta Holding and CEO of Delta Real Estate.

The renovation of the Blue Hall is not only a visual upgrade but also represents a significant technological leap. New lighting and acoustics systems, implemented in collaboration with leading global companies, offer a unique audio-visual experience, making the Sava Centar one of the most modern conference spaces in the region.

“With the reconstruction, we have also created the largest cinema hall in this part of Europe, equipped with the most advanced 3D screen in the region. New spaces such as the Amphitheater Hall and Atrium, a winter garden with green walls and nearly 5,000 plants, have been added around the hall. The Sava Centar is now a smart building that not only efficiently uses energy but also produces it,” added Angelina Nekić.

The Blue Hall at the Sava Centar is now capable of hosting the most complex music and stage productions. The already enhanced acoustics are supported by special audio systems for film screenings, concerts, and congress events. A state-of-the-art concert sound system from the French brand L-Acoustics has been installed in the hall, meeting the highest technical demands of global stars.

Speaking about the future of conference tourism and culture in the renovated Blue Hall, Kristina Milinčić, General Manager of the Sava Centar, emphasized: “Since the announcement of the reopening of the Blue Hall, interest has been enormous – 50 events have already been booked, including concerts by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from London, performances by José Carreras, and the return of the Bolshoi Ballet to Belgrade after more than 40 years, along with numerous local performers for whom the Sava Centar is well-known.”

Since its reopening, the Sava Centar has hosted 55,000 visitors, more than half of whom are foreign delegates. With the reopening of the Blue Hall, this number is expected to triple by the end of the year. “The Sava Centar is the heart of conference tourism in Belgrade and Serbia. Now, after the renovation and capacity expansion, with the number of halls increasing from 16 to 46, and the renovated Blue Hall, we are ready for major international gatherings in our capital. Already in the spring of next year, the Sava Centar will host an international cardiology congress with over 7,000 participants, the largest event of its kind in Belgrade’s history,” concluded Milinčić.

The renovated Sava Centar, together with the expansion of the airport and new Air Serbia flights, in anticipation of the 2027 World Expo, will bring significant benefits to the entire city and Serbia. With these infrastructural improvements, Belgrade is positioning itself as a global destination for hosting events at the highest international level.

After the complete renovation of the Sava Centar, we continue with a strong investment cycle, planning additional investments worth over 850 million euros in new real estate projects in Belgrade and Novi Sad. Over the next three years, we plan to build the luxurious Delta District complex in Block 20, Delta Land on Despot Stefan Boulevard, and Delta Iron in Novi Sad.
