Delta Holding Marks 35 Years of Operations
Significant Contribution to the Development of Serbia’s and the Region’s Markets
Planned revenues of EUR 1.4 billion in 2026 and investments exceeding EUR 1 billion by 2028
At a ceremony marking its 35th anniversary, Delta Holding presented the company’s journey, key achievements, and future plans through a retrospective of three and a half decades of development, reaffirming its position as one of the leading business systems in Serbia and the region, with a significant contribution to the growth of the domestic economy.
Through various economic cycles, Delta Holding has expanded its operations across Serbia, the wider region, and international markets including Europe, China, and Russia. Over the years, the company has developed businesses that reached market maturity within their sectors and are now part of major international systems, including Banca Intesa, Generali, and the retail chain within the Delhaize Group.
Geographic diversification, a broad portfolio, and long-term strategic thinking have enabled the company to build a stable and resilient business system capable of adapting to change while contributing to economic development. This approach was reaffirmed in 2025, when Delta Holding achieved record results – revenues of nearly EUR 1.1 billion, representing 16% growth, while EBITDA reached EUR 136 million, an increase of 20%. During the same period, EUR 240 million was paid into the budget of the Republic of Serbia. The company currently employs nearly 6,000 people, including 1,680 employees under the age of 35, while systematic investment in talent development and management remains one of its key growth drivers.
Miroslav Mišković, President of Delta Holding, emphasized that the company’s long-term growth is based on continuous investment in knowledge and people development. “We started with beginners, people without experience. Today, those individuals lead the company. We build people. In new businesses we sometimes bring in experienced professionals, but elsewhere we hire young talent and create our own culture,” said Mišković. Speaking about economic development, he highlighted that sustainable growth cannot exist without knowledge, and that partnerships with global companies are essential for bridging the knowledge gap within the domestic economy. Delta, he noted, learns through cooperation with major international systems and applies that knowledge to its own development.
“Delta has continuously grown and learned, evolving together with the people who built it. It has transformed itself while shaping the environment around it. Through pioneering market initiatives in Serbia and the region — investing in new businesses and developing them into market leaders – Delta has attracted some of the world’s largest foreign investors to Serbia, many of whom remain category leaders today. We are proud of the contribution we have made to the development of the market in Serbia and the region,” said Milka Vojvodić, CEO and Senior Vice President of Delta Holding, thanking everyone who has contributed to building Delta over the past 35 years.
A new investment cycle exceeding EUR 1 billion by 2028 was also announced, focused on real estate, digital commerce, and agribusiness as the key pillars of the company’s next phase of growth.
Delta Holding continues to achieve strong results across all business segments. Sava Centar has strengthened Belgrade’s position as an international congress and business destination, welcoming more than 800,000 visitors since reopening. In the real estate sector, the company is investing in the Delta District, Delta Iron, and Delta Land projects, while the completion of the hotel InterContinental Belgrade is planned for late 2026.
Delta Agrar is the largest producer and distributor of wheat and barley in Serbia, supported by continuous production modernization, digitalization, and expansion of irrigated land.
Ananas has positioned itself as a regional leader in the e-commerce market. With more than 1.2 million products and the implementation of advanced tools and technologies, Ananas continues to set standards in digital commerce.
Delta DMD is one of the leading distributors in the market, as confirmed by recognition from Diageo, which named Delta DMD Partner of the Year among 35 markets in the Eastern Europe cluster. Delta Transportni Sistem has expanded operations into North Macedonia and Albania, integrating seven countries across the region.
Delta Auto Group is a leader in the auto, motorcycle, and commercial vehicle segments. BMW holds the top position in the premium segment while ranking among the five best-selling brands in the overall market.
Delta Holding was the first company in Serbia to reintroduce the tradition of philanthropic endowments, donating three significant endowments to the country – two in Belgrade and one in Kragujevac. The company has received more than 50 domestic and international awards for its sustainable and socially responsible business practices.
Entering its next phase of development, Delta Holding is guided by clear strategic priorities, strong investment plans, and the ambition to remain one of the key drivers of economic growth in Serbia and the region.
